We had two trikes and 5 bikes in our group and 12 people. We left Grants Pass at approximately 10:00 A.M. and the weather was clear and cool. It was an enjoyable ride to Gold Beach and Judy even got to play a slot machine on the way at the Casino gas station where we made a pit stop.
As always the Fish Fry was excellent and I found out that Bud Bowling only likes two types of pie ....."Hot & Cold".
After we filled our bellies and as we were getting ready to depart Chapter M members began to arrive. We would have liked to visit if they had gotten there sooner but we wanted to get home before dark so had to leave. Some of the Chapter M members spend the night and I’m sure enjoyed a great time. I hope we left them some fish.
The ride home was enjoyable and, as we like it, uneventful. Judy and I got home at 6 P.M. just as it was starting to get dark so it was perfect planning. I just can’t understand how we got our Gold Wings to ride past the DQ in Cave Junction without stopping.
One of the other members, Marty, will have to report on the Court House ride. I’m sure the also had a great time. It’s always a great time when friends get together.
